Denise & Ben 23rd July 2011

Another very busy weekend for me. After driving home from Friday’s wedding in Richmond, Saturday morning saw me head off to The Berkeley Hotel, Kensington where bride to be Denise was preparing for her marriage to Benjamin Hollway at 2pm. I promised I would get a few photographs from the day online for Ben & Denise before they depart for their honeymoon on the stunning island of Santorini on Tuesday, so here is a small selection for you!

From Kensington I hopped back on the Tube to St Pauls to catch up with the groom’s party who were busily devouring their steaks at The Cote in Ludgate Hill. A brisk walk to the church St Etheldreda’s, in Ely Place and we were ready for the arrival of the guests and the beautiful bride Denise and her father.

St Ethelreda’s is Britain’s oldest Catholic Church and it’s origins date from the time when bishops were called to sit in Parliament. The choir sing from the gallery at the back of the church with the beautiful stained glass as a backdrop. Photography in this church is always a challange because of the low lighting levels but it is a truely beautiful church to photograph and of course to get married in.

The reception was held at The Westminster Boating Base with great views across the Thames. Ben’s two Best Men performed an hilarious speech in the guises of “Merve” & “Maurice” which I believe represent Ben & his alter ego.

Hope you guys have a terrific honeymoon in Greece, will catch up with you when you get back.
