Well that was certainly a hectic weekend! Wedding at Knebworth House on Friday, finished at 7pm, jumped in the car after connecting up camera batteries for recharge. Backed up image files to portable device on the way over to Herefordshire arriving at the B&B 10:30pm.

Up early the next day for a wonderful cooked breakfast and then off to Englands Gate to meet up with the groom’s party for Saturday’s wedding.  The boys decided to have a few rugby scrums as a warm up for the wedding!

Meanwhile the girls were getting ready at the stunning Hampton Court Castle were the reception was held later in the day.

What a wedding it was too! The ceremony was held at the beautiful ( though compact ) church at Stoke Lacey which was the same church that Nicola’s Mother and Father, Kay & Robin were also married.

Then off to Hampton Court Castle again where all the guests gathered in the courtyard while I found a window to photograph them from!

After the formals and the reception itself I got Nicola & Simon out for a few more images in front of the castle and down by the very peaceful lakeside. Cake cutting and first dance ( including an improptu performance from Best Man Drew with Simon’s sister Vickki )  followed and I left the party at 11pm after Simon and his friends had launched some lanterns into the night sky……

Next morning back in the car for the 3 hour drive home in time to head off with Noreen to Sue & Steve’s barbecue …. A very busy weekend.
