There was a definite yuletide feel at the Manor of Groves on Saturday for Alison & Bill’s wedding. Apart from the Christmas decorations the wedding had a classy black & white theme for the occasion with male guests in dinner jackets and black ties. The black & white chair coverings for the ceremony and evening reception were provided by Everything’s Covered and together with the table decorations, created a great setting for the day and evening.
Bill and his best man, brother Pete certainly looked the part and wore red bow ties and in keeping with the festive mood had mistletoe for button holes as did Alison’s two handsome sons who accompanied her down the aisle for the wedding service.
Whilst waiting for the ceremony to start I spotted this baby playing with it’s hat and couldn’t resist catching the moment. Children are always great to photograph at weddings. ….. An other opportunity presented itself after the wedding whilst the guests were mingling in the hallway … You will see that shot a bit further down …
This little chap decided to pay a game of peek a boo with me while his father enjoyed a drink and a chat after the wedding …
Alison and Bill braved the cold evening air for a quick photograph in the Gazebo before we headed into the library for a few formal shots …
Final shot of the day .. was of course the first dance …. to the classic “Strangers in the Night”
